The consumption of resources is reduced due to water reutilization strategies in production. The cassava processing wastes are degraded in a biodigester capable of transforming them in energy, reducing therefore, the use of firewood.

In addition to this, social projects are promoted to stimulate the cares with the environment. For example, selective collection of the generated waste provides correct destination to the material with the help of a cooperative. The access road is often cleaned by employees and, every year, there is plantation of trees in the company’s zone.
